Marco Dessí
Marco Dessí, born in Merano, Italy in 1976 studied Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. In 2008 he established his own design practice, Studio Marco Dessí, a multidisciplinary design studio based in Vienna.

The Studio works with a list of international clients and cultural institutions on a large variety of projects, ranging from furniture and product design to spatial design.
Their approach is practical and collaborative with an understanding of design as an interactive process in which the client’s production methods are taken into account during the conception phase.
Studio Dessí is not committed to a particular style, a preferred material or an established formula - indeed the way an item is produced and the understanding of its materials have a direct influence over its aestheticism and the story that it tells.
