For La Manufacture, Neri&Hu have designed a range of sideboards within their Intersection collection celebrating monastery life. 
The use of natural or stained wood panels for t he horizontal and vertical elements, and the pedestal leg give this range of sideboards a simple, yet sculptural and monolithic look. Somewhere between a piece of furniture and an altar, this design displays simplicity expressed through clean and uncluttered lines, evoking traditional and religious furniture that favours function over ornamentation.
